Calling for some of the white stuff tonite!!!! Rarely do we get to hunt in the snow in rifleseason. I cant wait, even 3-4" will be nice, calling for 6 here. I am leaving work early tomm morning to be out in in, I love hunting in the snow!!!!!

I was looking forward to a good covering tonight, but now the forecast is for about an inch. Hope it stays on the ground till this weekend, see where all those deer have beenhiding out since gun opener!

Snow did not last long here. I went hunting this morning and by evening it was half gone.

HOPE YOU GUYS GET SOME....

Eastern frederick county did get a couple inches. Melted off the south slopes. Was 17F this am, so took a friend and went to my favorite late muzzleloader stands (where snow had melted) We both got does. I saw 14 deer and 2 good bucks, one with a old injury had deformed 1/2 rack woulda scored 125 with regular rack, he was sticking to 4 does. Jumped a monster 140 8 point while getting the does out. We did notsee a deer until 9:30 am and thewildest thing was these were the two biggest bucks I saw all year!! I could not take either one as we have 1 buck rule on that farm and I already have 100" 6 point. Awesome morning snow was great!

eastern Fredrick co is where I hunt too, it is incredible to say the least. If you do hunt there, you know what Im talking about !!!!

Forecast for snow.. again. Hope it really happens this time. I am going out Saturday, hope to see some trails, maybe even see some deer if I am lucky!
