Anyone seen any yotes in Pa while hunting deer?I have not seen one or heard of any being seen or shot.This is unusuall for me not to see atleast one wander by my stand.Just curious about where they might be.

theyre out there , i havent been up north this yr to see any , but since they have moved south , they are around the suburbs now , i heard of a few getting arrowed in archery but thats it , one kid shot a 40 lber with the bow , a big alpha male....so far tho in gun season nothin....

Anyway, saw plenty of yotes during archery season. Even called on in from over 200 yards for my buddy but he was uncomfortable with the 50 yard shot...the landowner where I hunt archery killed his first opening day of rifle. I've shot 2 off this farm, one with bow, one with rifle and a third elsewhere in spring gobbler season...

The Coyote numbers are down a little this year in PA......the PGC stocking truck from Montana broke down on I-80 and they just released them all into Ohio.
I did see a big one Saturday in Huntingdon Co. but he was haulin' A and even though he came by at 30 yards it would have been liketrying to hit a flying grouse with a .22. I didn't even try.
