Ya might want to double check that. In rifle season you need a valid deer tag to hunt them with only a hunting license and you might need a furtakers license to hunt them...but I could be mistaken too...something to double check...

Anyway, saw plenty of yotes during archery season. Even called on in from over 200 yards for my buddy but he was uncomfortable with the 50 yard shot...the landowner where I hunt archery killed his first opening day of rifle. I've shot 2 off this farm, one with bow, one with rifle and a third elsewhere in spring gobbler season...

In PA Coyotes can be hunted on a regular license OR trapped with a furtakers. Now fox you need both hunting license AND furtakers to hunt one.

The Coyote numbers are down a little this year in PA......the PGC stocking truck from Montana broke down on I-80 and they just released them all into Ohio.

I did see a big one Saturday in Huntingdon Co. but he was haulin' A and even though he came by at 30 yards it would have been liketrying to hit a flying grouse with a .22. I didn't even try.
