I am lost. It sounds like in Jim's post that he was in the group with all of those deer taken and is upset. Someone clarify this for me because I am not getting it.

I hunt private land in Southern NY through a hunting club and it too abutts state land and it doesn't seem like they cross the boundary onto our land until you can see the footprints in the snow. When we occupy the land with hunters they post along the line, somebody even put upa tree stand right on the line facing into our land. A guy that lives on the border of the land has been caught many times trespassing on our land and will stare you down.

I would put up a barbed wire fence high enough to keep the guys out but low enough so the deer could cross. But it is too much money to fence up such a large piece of land.

It is no lie. If you ever talk to anyone from the Owl Creek club, they will tell you.

I think it is in Spencer, NY. They have lease land in Spencer and Caroline. I just have ties to the secretary and he tells me what I need to get to him, I get it to him and he takes care of the rest.
