Default PA hunters, what do you think of the point restriction now?

It's been a two years going on the third right? Two years ago there was lots of complaining from PA hunters on here. Last year there was quite a bit, but a few guys got to connect with their best bucks ever. This year I see quite a few pictures of some really nice bucks on camera (two and three year olds that had to be passed over last year). What are your thoughts on it as you come into the season? Have any of you changed your thoughts on the issue?

I like it, think that it has beneficial and would like to continue to see it as part of our regulations.

I could go along with that, I just don't like the antlerless slaughter.

It's served me well, I know that. After a few years of observation, however, I am opposed to the herd reduction.

Antler restrictions with limited doe harvest would be a dream.

It does seem most people like the A.R. but the doe slaughter has really set one group of hunters against an other.

I just got the new Bowhunter Magazine yesterday and it lists PA deer #'s @ 1600000 I think these people are counting sheep in their sleep!!!!!!!!!
