after several season's of thinning wood's......letting those spike's walk and shooting doe's looks like it just might be paying off.
the above deer where photo'd in a clear cut area that we have added mineral licks(only non natural substance allowed) and cut tree tops. less than 400 feet away is a corn field and to the extreme south/east corner a bean field.(both fields are agricultural crops not food plots). for the past several seasons this area has been a NO shoot zone but several deer(mostly doe) have been taken while sitting and covering trails leading into and out of the area.
does anybody else use this set up by that i mean not only hunting but also using the help of a local farmers fields to promote better herd management

yes that is a nice buck........have a few more pics of lesser bucks from the same area
