THE 4 PRONG ARE 4 INCHES WIDE AND THE 3 PRONG ARE 2 3/4 INCHES WIDE WITH 4 INCH LONG PRONGS WITH A 1 INCH DIA. HOLE FOR THE POLE . a gig is like a small pitchfork usually made from tempered steel with sharp barbs on the tines, it looks like a miniture devils fork. it's used to stick fish while using lights to light up the underwater area or while gigging in shallow salt water areas.

got my gig last week,it looks fine.I do believe it will work great for most any and all fish in my area.I sent a PM nad got it in just a few days.
