I HAVE A FEW GOOD HAND FORGED FISH GIGS MADE BY ME A SECOND GENERATION BLACKSMITH-GIG MAKER . I HAVE 3 AND 4 PRONG MADE FROM TRUCK SPRING ... THE 4 PRONG ARE 4 INCHES WIDE AND THE 3 PRONG ARE 2 3/4 INCHES WIDE WITH 4 INCH LONG PRONGS WITH A 1 INCH DIA. HOLE FOR THE POLE . interested ; but need more info. 4 , 5 prong??how big 6" wide or what?
I need some that are big enough for 15 lb. fish!large drum,big old flounders.sheepshead.

Same question, what size and also how are they made to connect to the pole? also how much for the gigs and the shipping ect...? looking for gig heads for 10 to 30 pd carp and missouri redhourse and suckers. thanks for any info.

a gig is like a small pitchfork usually made from tempered steel with sharp barbs on the tines, it looks like a miniture devils fork. it's used to stick fish while using lights to light up the underwater area or while gigging in shallow salt water areas.

got my gig last week,it looks fine.I do believe it will work great for most any and all fish in my area.I sent a PM nad got it in just a few days.
