Hunting alone this fall
My hunting partner chickened out of this fall’s hunt because of cwd. I hunt just north of Ladysmith Wisconsin of off hwy 27. Has anyone heard of any cases up there (even though it doesn’t matter to me)? My wife does not want me to hunt alone so I am dragging her with me. I will have more land to myself and after the help and tips I received from this board I can work the land better. Anyone know of any butchers along the Illinois/Wisconsin border that I can drop my deer off since Illinois will not let me bring my it back. I will be driving down hwy 90. Thanks for the help.

Ladysmith got flattened by a tornado yesterday. I would try to find a butcher some where in the area. Would hate to be almost home and not be able to drop the deer off...
