Since Vang had threatened his wife with a firearm .... would that have caused him to be denied a Minnesota resident deer license???

Still trying to figure out why he would pay a $160 Non-Resident Wisconsin deer license fee to hunt in a unfamiliar area.

I surely don't condone Vang's activity whatsoever. I woulda shot him if he was throwing lead at me, but this "high powered assult rifle" he was hunting with as some media sources have claimed is far from and M-16 or something of that sort. He was using a Chinese SKS which is a semiautomatic vintage rifle. Its a 7.62x39mm cartridge. Its comparable in size to a 30/30.

i live in wisconsin and i go to hayward for vacation every year and the story is that the same people kicked him off last year and he said that they insulted him then he walked a bit took the scope of his gun and started shooting and he shot the people who came on a four wheeler and they were the ones who scratched his back tag into the dirt it is a shame and when he did it he was wearing camo and intended to hunt people!!! i would have shot him my self if i was the two guys who found him lost in the woods ethier way he would not have made it out of them woods alive and the cops had already came to his house for domestic dispute and they took his guns away but if he didn't own land here why did he come all the way form minnesota answer to hunt people since in wisconsin we don't have the death penalty i say give him live in prison send him some were else to be tried or take him out back and shoot him

it was a sad day for hunters every were

thank you for your time

It scared me when I was out hunting after those days. Kept an eye on who was coming out in the woods. Was bout 2 and 1/2 hours away from the scene that day. That was a sad day for everyone espically the family. I am sorry for the families. But I really liked what happened at the Packer/ St Louis Monday Night football game lots of people wore BLAZE ORANGE. That was cool.
