I have my tags, my hunting license, and what else do I need to get for me to be legal in Illinois to go bowhunting deer?

Written permission to hunt the property is highly advised if you do not own or live on it.

Keep your bow in a case when in/on a moving vehicle.

Make sure your tags are filled out complete and signed. The resident tags have to be signed by the hunter before they go in the field and alot of people fail to do this.
