Not here... I got back to my hunting spots and seen deer everywhere. I've heard people on here complaining about the deer population on the decrease, but don't see any in N-C Kansas. I seen over 50 this evening and didn't even look hard for them. I know they're all bunch up right now, but my buddies have been seein many herds, up around the 100 deer mark, in along the rivers and creeks. Deer population is still on the rise, like every year, and wouldn't mind if it could at least stay the same. I killed a couple does this year trying to help, but isn't near enough.

Same thing being said here Kshunter. In N.W. Missouri, they say the herd is down too, but, thats not what I am seeing. And it is not what some of my buddies are saying either. By the way, I miseed on a nice doe the last day of the season here. Would of been nice to have her in the freezer along with helping the herd! I actually got into an arguement the other day at work with some guy trying to tell me that killing does is the reason that we don't have any decent bucks to shoot around here! STUPID!
