RE: Any WI bowhunters here????
I harvested a doe with my bow. Had a nice 10 point that I couldn't get within 50yds during bow season. He scored 130 3/8"
He came within 20 ft during gun season.

I had a pretty good season. 2 does and a decent first buck (6pt 180lb field dressed) with the bow. been hunting for only 3 years now with the bow and every year has been better than the one before. always see big bucks and sometimes they see me too.

RE: Any WI bowhunters here????
I hunted on and off until the rut got going.
hunted every day from nov.3rd till the 14th.
I saw 21 bucks 14 in range but passed waiting
for an older buck. On tuesday the 13th It poured in the morning and I didnt see dit!
My dad had told me he saw a nice 8 point with
a doe that was ready too breed so on a hunch
I got as close to the area as possable and set up in a stand my brother in law had hung
the summer before. I placed my doe decoy at about 20 yards and climbed into the stand for
the last hunt of my year as I had to go back to work the next day. At around 4:30 I hit the rattling antlers together real hard. The buck responded so quikly I almost didnt have time to hang the horns up and grab my bow. He came directly to the coy with another slightly small buck behind. He came in with the wind in his face trying to wind the coy but my scentblocker suit performed perfectly as it had all year and when he turned broadside i took him through both lungs, he only made it 30 yards. all in all I had a pretty good year harvesting 3 doe and the buck that was an 8 point scoreing around 120 pope and young points and weight 200 dressed!
