Default Shedding this early??

I've heard some reports of shedding taking place in the in Kane and other surrounding counties in illinois. Just wondering if any one has seen or heard this also. Seems just a little early to me.

You know Hammerman, I live in Kendall county, while hunting the other day, I saw a deer come into the woods, as it was aslking towards my stand it looked like a doe, then it walked away, and I hit my CAN, and it came running back, I am not sure, but I think it was a buck without his antlers, if so that would really bum me out!

I found a shed during the last week of bow season 2 years ago. I have heard of guys shooting an antlered deer, only to find him with the antlers knocked off when he went down.

A guy I know found a nice shed here in Lake County almost 2 weeks ago already.

However last night my dad saw 3 different bucks from one of our stands, all with full racks still.

i found a nice 5x5 set by our bale stack on the christmas holidays this year. It was sort of strange because i usually don't find them for a month or so yet, but i guess anything is possible. Talked to my dad on the phone this evening and he saw 2 big bucks last night with their racks on yet so i guess some are droppin them and some want to wait a bit yet.

I have seen many bucks near me (eastern pa) that have only one horn and my cousin shot a 10 and one side fell off while draging.
