I've found fresh sheds as early as November. Even though it's a rarity, it happens.

In the last week I got a game cam picture of a one horned buck, I've also found one small shed from this year.

I have also noticed a few bucks running does'.

During the second gun season here, a buddy of mine shot a button buck. when we were skinning it I noticed the buttons were loose. I cut around the hide and they came right off. So I guess you never know.

I got 3 pics of bucks who have shed already. Posted them in the bowhunting forum. Also saw a spike with only one antler. Whether he shed the other one already or it was broke I don't know.

I got my answer for sure this morning. My friend was out last night and shot what he thought was a doe it was getting dark . When he found it this morning it was a buck missing the rack. We think it was the 9pt that we had been after , it has a very big body.

A friend of mine shot a buck with bloody stumps for antlers about 2 weeks ago near Kankakee. He must have just shed them.

Then last week, I saw 3 deer with antlers still.
I've got my binocs with me all the time now so I can check out any deer I run into to see if they are does or bucks that have shed.
