MI Hunters: take a doe w/a bow in gun?
I realize I can hunt with a bow during rifle, but can I take a doe with either license with a bow without a doe tag? I haven' t filled any tags yet.

Why does the crazy government have to be so stinking confusing. If you bought a combo lic you should be able to shoot a doe with a bow during firearms season. But I am not Positive. You still must follow firearms rules like blaze orange. Are you on private land? Check your countys allocation for antlerless tags. I just checked last week for Livingston Co and there was over 3700 antlerless tags available. They are only $7 and you can buy one per day.

you aren' t hunting with a gun and by hunting with a bow one of those tags is optional as a doe tag i never read anything about that changing when gun season opened.
yes you can take a doe during firearm with a bow but you must wear the orange while hunting
From the 2003 Hunting Guide......
Combination Deer Hunting License
Residents and nonresidents are entitled to purchase one license with two kill tags (regular and restricted) for use during any firearm hunting season (regular firearm and muzzleloading) or archery seasons. A hunter can use both kill tags in the firearm seasons, both in the archery season or one in each season. Youngsters 12 and 13 are restricted to archery-only hunting.
The regular combination kill tag can be used in the archery seasons to tag either an antlered or antlerless deer. The regular combination kill tag can be used in the firearm seasons to tag a legal (3 inches or longer antler) antlered deer of any size except for those areas with exceptions as noted (see Special Regulations).
The restricted combination kill tag can be used in the archery seasons to tag an antlerless deer. It also can be used to tag an antlered deer during either the archery or firearms seasons if the antlered deer has at least one antler with four or more antler points each one inch or longer. It is unlawful to use this tag on a smaller antlered deer regardless of the season or area in which it was taken.

Even if you carry a bow into the feild, you still have to follow all of the same rules and tag restrictions as if you had a gun. Using a bow gives you no special privileges. If it did they wouldnt close down bow season until the 1st of dec.
If you are on private land, you can get an anterless kill tag as stated by lobi.
