Default MI: Grouse and pheasant hunting

My GSP will be five this year and is doing great. Last year she made that magical transition from fairly good young hunter to absolutely outstanding.

I've been going to strictly pheasant farms up to this point but am wondering if there are any places in MI to hunt wild pheasants any more. Or is the population just never going to be what it was back in the 70s and 80s?

Also, anyone know how the grouse cycle is doing in the UP? How's the grouse hunting in the northern lower?

Thanks.
