Ya, hunted public too. I only saw 1 deer (small doe day 1) during shooting hours the entire 2nd season. Got on stand by 5:15 AM and hunted til dark each day. They were moving like crazy right before sun-up and after sun down....this has been the trend for the last 3 seasons.

I thought the conditions were terrible -- warm with a high wind out of the south.
