Sounds like a great friend you got there. I was planning on getting out to our leasr this past weekend to check my cam and do a little look about but my buddy hurt his foot at work and didn't feel like tromping thru the woods. Well there is always next weekend...

Was driving around on Saturday in Richland County with a friend and in 2:30 in the afternoon we saw three bucks standing together almost on the side of the road. The smallest was a big 10-12 pointer and the biggest was probably 16 points.
I did get entertained by watching my father, sister, and sister's boyfriend deal with a nest full of ground wasps as they were putting a stand up on my land. I was about 30 yards away clearing shooting lanes, so was spared.

Finally made it out to the spot today. Saw a ton of fresh tracks in the wet clay. The corn looks good and pulled the sd card from the trail cam, had 4 different bucks, does and does with fawns. Things look pretty good so for. I'll post pisc of acouple of the bucks in the trail cam forum if you want to take a gander...

Here is a recent trailcam pic of a 10 point. I planted food plots and hung all my sets late last week in Brown County. The crops look great and I saw some monsters in the bean fields. Can't wait for my first hunt.
