Hard to get enthusiastic about scouting in southern Illinois when it is in the 90s and humid, and the poison ivy and oak are in full bloom. Would rather do it later in the Fall.

I thnk it is fun to get out and do that this time of the year for a little fun. I just never saw the sense in taking it too seriously since whatever scouting and patterning you do in Mid-august may not be that useful in late october when all the crops are in and much of the the brush and leaves are gone.

I am trying to draw a muzzleloader tag for Edgar county for the first time. When will Fish and Game start letting you know who has gotten drawn for tags?

Thanks

They are not going to let you know per se, They'll just mail your tags. Try this link http://neonwebh.cmcf.state.il.us:8080/con/deerinq
and enter the info exactly as requested.

Good Luck!

My friend drove out to our lease last week, he hung all the stands, I couldn't go as I just was closing on my house. He saw some great bucks while out there!!!!!
