I'll be making the trek north after Thanksgiving to hunt the last 3 days of gun season near Crandon. Can anyone give me some tips for hunting that area. I will be going with my grandfather who said it is his last hunt so I want one of us to get something.

I dont know what to tell you just try to hunt hard That time of the season the deer are really far back in the woods and almost nocturnal so just try to hunt as hard as posible. I know what you mean about your grandpa mine is comeing up and I think it might be his last he had a hart atack and a strok this year so I just hope he can see some deer and hopefully get a shot or two.

Just go up and have fun with Grandpa... Its not all about killing deer.
