Default RE: leasing?

One thing that might really save you some heart ache... In your contract, add a clause of "1st right of refusal" Meaning you get the opertunity to match out bid any one who trys to offer the landowner more thyan what your paying. And/or even a multi year contract.
By the way, the single thing Iv'e seen cause people to loose lease's is bragging or letting the big bucks you shoot be seen publicly. I know alot of people, myself included that have shot huge bucks and then all the sudden the landowner has relitives or friends that want to hunt it, or if every body finds out where you shot it, all the sudden 20 guys are trying to out bid you the next year.
I know it sounds bad, But I take the bucks out the back side and claim I got em somewhere else.
