Can anybody tell me which would be a better week to bowhunt Holmes County, Ohio......the first week of the season (probably high temps)or Thanksgiving week (after the youth shotgun weekend)?

before the youth shot gun season bucks seemed to be in full rut this year. so base your hunt on that.

Yep, Thanksgiving week then. The rut should still be going on then at least to some extent.

Thanks..........Thanksgiving week in 2007 it is! (Now I've got to find an area to hunt!) The farm I hunted on this year is not allowing any hunting next year.....
