I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect from the hunting around Kampsville, Illinois. Me and some friends are coming up from Louisiana on thursday to start hunting on friday. I have heard nothing but good about Illinois but was trying to get specifics about the particular area around Kampsville. Any info would be appreciated.

Kampsville is located on the Illinois river. I have never hunted that particular area. However, I do travel the area alot due to my work route. There are some great bucks in the area and your right smack dab in the middle of the best whitetail hunting area in the nation.
