Alabama hunter missing in Illinois
Alabama deer hunter and taxidermist Michael Stratton 'Strat' Oakley left his family in Alabama last Sunday and has not been seen since. He has reportedly been seen this week in some taxidermy shops in the Pittsfield, Illinois area.
Strat is driving a tan 2000 Nissan Frontier and is pulling a black utility trailer. Alabama tags are 41B324P
Strat suffers from depression and needs to get back on his meds. His wife and best friend indicate he needs to be found soon.
Strat is a big guy at 275 pounds and has red hair.
He may be looking for a job or apartment in western Illinois or Eastern Missouri. He has been seen this week in Pittsfield, Detroit and possibly Barry(today, Sat morning) Other towns where he may go include Payson, IL and MO towns of Hannibal, Quincy or LaGrange
His wife is in the area. You can call her at 256-810-4039 The IL St Police and CPO's are also in the search.
