Picture 1 of 1 from Album Otis 012 Firearm Cleaners
Well it’s a cold snowy night and I thought to try out the Gun Cleaners that was sent from Otis: The Most Advance Gun Care System In The World.
First up to clean was a Ruger SP 101 .357, after fire numerous rounds off .358 cast swc with AA#2 powder 4.0grn(if any one reloads they know how dirty this powder is). Now this Gun has not been clean in a great while. The 012-CU Copper Remove made short work on the Copper & Lead build up inside the Barrel. Next I applied the 012-C Carbon Remover and it ate away on that Carbon build up like starving Coyotes on a Deer carcass. It removed it really Quick; I must say I was IMPRESSED, Wiped right off, after letting it set for 5min. The next one up to Clean was my Kel-Tec PF-9, so I broke down the Gun, Man was it really dirty after target practices. I applied 012-GP General Purpose Blend to a rage and started wiping and the carbon was coming off them parts really easily. Next I scrubbed the barrel with the same 012-GP and it remove build up out of the barrel also (for all around my money is on 012-GP, It works for everything). The most and least of all was my H&R 1871 Pump Shot Gun, I really abuse this Gun, No Joke it has even been drug throw the Mud Turkey Hunting and it hasn’t been clean for 2 year’s. When I broke the barrel down, I’m embarrassed to say I found rust, so I applied the 012-PL Shotgun Blend to a rage and scrubbed away. Now most of the Carbon and Dirt did remove but that rust was not breaking down, so I Applied the 012-C Carbon Remover and Steal whole and I be dag gone that started breaking down the rust, now I had to scrub really hard and about 20min, it did not remove it all but that is my fault. I do recommend each one of these Cleaners, But for the all-around Cleaner I recommend Is The 012-GP General Purpose Blend, It does it all(100% By Far The Best), I’m recommend the Otis Cleaners to all my Hunting Buddies.
