Default Des Plaines River

I walked the banks of the Des Plaines last night testing my new set up: a refurbished Oneida Tomcat with a marauder hawglite. Everything worked great but the fish were very skittish. By the end of the night my bow arm was tired and I only shot one smallmouth buffalo. Had to give up when the rain came.

Congrats on your buff.

You going to come up to Wonder Lake on June 20th? We can bring up a canoe for you again. I think I'm going to do the canoe thing.
