Why is wolf Creek being closed? Is it just to tournaments or closed completely?

Luke, Illinois is closing 16 state parks and that is one that they picked for the axe. But so far it is just talk. There is a lot of up-roar so not sure just how many will get cut. We have 5 or 6 here in my area. Got a governer that can fly from Chicago down to Springfield every day and can justify that. But cannot find enough money to keep our parks open.

So our tournaments are going to be at eagle creek or Bo woods. Why not opposum creek Bo woods seems to be a little off the beaten path isnt it.
