the price diffrence come from new and used. new reduction 2600, used 1500. new prop 1500-2500, used 1500-1000. new 496 motor 8000, rebuilt 383 2000.

Slim,
Even at the rate you shoot fish, I'd still hate to compute the average cost per fish taken. Those carp should feel very $pecial. :D

Rob, I think it's a violation of the Man Rules to calculate thecost of venison per pound and cost of fish taken while bowfishing. ;)

Heck, I won't even go there.

everybody who has a airboat tells me that if you dont go crazy that 20-30 gallons of gas a night is normal. i was burning at least 15 in the outboard and fan before. they all like to brag that they went through 50-80 gal but that is at a world class tourney where cost is no object.

I can't wait to see that thing rigged and ready to roll. It looks like you could fight crime off of it. I think the best part is after you shoot one just pitch it behind you into the fan and you don't have to pack all those fish around!!!!! it slices, it dices......lol

Somebody had a silver asian carp jump into their fan motor sometime in the last 2 years. It instantly totalled their prop. I think that was a fan boat, but I imagine the effect would be similar.
