Default Small lakes near Springfield

Does anyone know if there are any small, public or private, lakes near Springfield where bowfishing is allowed?

There's a small pond at Veteran's and Browning Rd that boils with carp, but it's posted as State Property Keep Out. Who the hell do they think owns State property, anyway? You can access the Sangamon River at Rt 29 and at a bride south of Athens that I can't think of the name of. Not sure about Carpenter or Riverside Parks. Other than that it's Lakes Spfld and Sangchris.
