Haven't been there, but I'm thinking of checking out that area soon.

I live in Morris. I've been told there are large carp around the barge elevators on the north side feeding on the spilled grain. I'd also check out Peacock's. Large shallow muddy flat = fish! Try it and let us know!

we tried it a couple days ago but we were only out there 45 minutes and his troller died. we managed 4 commons in that time because the water was dirty. we were in the small creek straight across from the launch under Rt 47. going to try it again, hopefully sometime soon.

I believe that's the Mazon River.

Keep us posted.
I want to make the most of my first trip over that way, and I can use any tips you can share.

Keep your eyes peeled for Bigheads and Silvers.
