Default 25 degrees

Well Ole Snuffy, KBI-Prez and I manage to get out on Georgetown lake again tonight. Was on the water at 8pm and off at 11:30 Did manage to boat 16 commons, largest was 8#2oz with a few 6-7# range. Had a couple of pull off's in the process. I had myline freeze on one shot and broke my line, managed to get the arrow back. Fish were in deeper water, did not find any in the normal shallow flats. Took us a bit to figure out that we had to aim lower..

I forgot to mention that we Berrrrrrly got back in last night as well. After only 3 hours my Duara-last batteries were toast. I was just able to get back to the dock. While i was backing the trailer down to load, Snuffy was not able to get the big motor running to run the boat up on the trailer. We could not get the gas line bulb to pump up. It was soft and stayed that way. The troller would not even turn the boat. So Bill, & snuffy had to use the push pole and paddle to get over to the trailer. You see the fun part is right at the boat dock is the dam, we had to cross the lake right across in front of it. The idea of being sucked over it was just not appealing to any of us. Although Bill did try and fall out of the boat a few times in the course of the night.

Nice fish.
Why is it that bowfishermen have such bad luck with boats?
Glad you guys got back OK without having to get out and push.
