Went out last night to a strip mine pit. Shot a few somethings, have no clue what they are. I took pictures and hopefully I can get christine to post them. Well any way as for a discription. Were long, solid green in color, had dorsal fin all the way to tail. Had a blocky head with teeth. Tail section ahead of the tail fin was thick. Did not taper down like most fish. They have a fish down there called Warmouth?? could be a bowfin??They are slinder like a gar, but thicker,and put up a good fight. no spots on the tail.
