Hey everyone, after reading all the posts here for about a week or two, you all got me pumped to get out on the PA. waters in search for carp, and to take a test run in the boat. After talking to Johny B about his turkey hunt on monday, I hit the waters! I shot the first two fish of the season. what a blast!!! Thanks for the push everyone.

You are too humble Tommy Mc. You for got to tell everyone that the one carp weighed 18# and the other was a wopping 20#. Not a bad start. I have yet to shoot a 18 or 20 # common carp.
Well I got the boat all rewired yesterday. Pulled out all the 18 gauge, and installed 12 gauge plus added one more light to the right front. Can you believe that i boutht a new heaver fuse assembly. got it all hooked up, and of course it came with out a fuse. Of course it was all nicely sealed so when I bought it i could not open it up to see. So one more trip to store..never ends. Jamie, husband, grandson coming in this evening. So I know some arrows will be sent flying. It is 5 am now. Waiting to go out on the my last day to stick a turkey..Still sticking with my bow. Could have shot one every day with scatter gun, but just do not want to do that. Another distraction is mushrooms are up. yepeee So got to go look for them and sheds.

Congrats Tommy Mc nice carp. And boy John isnt joking there are major distractions going on now shed antlers mushrooms mmmmmmmmmmm and carp going crazy there isnt enough hours inthe day....
