A buddy of mine was approached by a guy that runs a bass fishing curcuit/tournement and he wanted my buddy to start up a bowfishing curcuit/tournement for michigan and the surrounding states. If all works well he could be starting up something huge. Also, you know what this means.....i'd be gettin lots of shooting. I just thought i'd share this info with all of ya. thats pretty much all i know about it though.

i do have a question though. why do some people use those float things?

there are a few circuts that you speak of. the carpmasters trail is on the ohio river and mainly a bighead tourney. the boys in arkanas have one also. worst part about the ohio shoots a few of them coincide with our shoots.
Floats are used for real big fish usualy over 50-75 lb. sharks. gator gar, gators, rays.... shot with a sloted retreiver.

A tournament trail would be great but if they dont quit boosting gas prices were gonna have to put carp in hte bathtub to be able to shoot.......
