Sick of the cold and snow Headed to TX. tomorrow see if we can shoot some of those big buffs and maybe a big ole gator gar.swing back up threw OK. and maybe a spoonie Also working on a spin cast reel you can use a float on,give me an excuse to go and try it out Will report when I get Back Fred@F&D

I can't wait to hear how this trip went. I really want to do a road trip down to Texas.
I think a bowfishing trip in FL would be awesome too.
Maybe next year we can get a group together?

Were Back Had a good time as always Toledo Bend Sam Rayburn Ok MO and IL. wow Bend first Hit the shot nose spawn one day lots of fish.That nite got a 28# long nose saw 3 gator gar couldn't make it happen .Sam Ray BurnDid not see much for fish 2 days there one gator gar .OK fill up on Paddle fish biggest 42# brought onehome for mounting neet fish meat is really good we brought lots of gar meat home too. Mo. gen gave us problems . IL. we saw a few sliversI think to earley.All in all fun trip but isn't any bowfishing trip fun!!! Fred@F&D

How'd the float work?
oh, and do you have a rest that will fit a left-handed Oneida TC-III? I need something that holds and arrow a bit better than my brass roller rest.

I don't have pics yet I think I will do a short story for the journal If your Tomcat has a ofset riser the DREAM REST will work I shot the spinning reel just aboutall week before the reel gave up I never gotinto a fish thatI needed a float onmaybe next trip. Fred@F&D
