Default Bowfishing Seminar

There will be a Bowfishing seminar Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Blue Ridge Backwoods Archery Shop in Monticello, Illinois at 3:00. Several of the club members will instructing the locals on the fine points of Bowfishing. There is a big interest in Bowfishing in the area especially with Clinton Lake opening April 1st to Bowfishing and the possibility to win a $1000.00 in the July Carpbusters Tournament at Clinton Lake in July.

Would any members like to bring their boats over to show the good folks over at Monticello what Bowfishing boats look like and maybe take Bowfisher to Clinton lakefor some nite Bowfishing after the seminar???? He has been busy promoting Bowfishing and hasn't had time to work on his new boat.

Bowfisher went to Effingham to the Sport Show and to help promote the club and the new Bowfishing goodies that Drave's Archery put in their shop this year. THeyhave even set up an AMS Fishhawk for rent soa guy or gal can try Bowfishing and get a feel of what they would like to shoot before they purchase a bow for Bowfishing.

Heard that SLim23 has his platform done and his fan mounted. Slim....post some 8 X 10 color glossies on here so we can see what we will have to beat at the Billy Davis Memorial shoot in April.

Fletcher;

You are always welcome. Come over and I will let you give the section on wading (not my cup of tea) being you are the Central Illinois wading expert. Looking for a boat yet???

Clinton Lake is nearby. We're planning on going there after the seminar.

Maybe I need to put sights on that bow.

I'm trying to figure out if it has an offset riser.... Does it?
