Due to a cancellation we have a spot for a group of 3-4 hunters that just opened on our North Texas free range whitetail hunt. This hunt is located near Throckmorton, Texas 2.5 hrs NW of the Dallas/Ft Worth area. This is a free range hunt on over 10,000 acres of private prime whitetail habitat. The hunt is 3.5 days with meals and lodging included. You may take 1 trophy buck, 2 does and a hog. The average shooter buck taken on this hunt is around 140" with several 150"+ bucks taken every season. The hunter success rate for this hunt runs 90% each year. the dates for this hunt is Nov 9-12 which is the opening week and would be right at the rut period so we classify the dates available as being the best dates for this hunt. The 152"+ buck below that one of our hunters shot is a sample of the bucks taken from this ranch on this hunt.

You may take 1 trophy buck, 2 does and hogs on this hunt and the ranch is over run with large hogs.

I have personally hunted on this ranch and it is a really nice ranch with nice ldoging, that is loaded with deer, turkey and hogs.

The drought will not be a problem on this ranch as it has 23 ponds that are all 20' deep, 6.58 miles of the Brazo river running through it and 2 weeks ago received 2" of rain on the ranch. The owner was doing a fly over in his micro last week and spotted a group of 4 bucks that were all over 150" with the biggest estimated being over the 170" mark.
