Description:
The thrill of the chase is what hunting cougars is all about. This outfitter has been hunting lions in southern Utah for over ten years and has an 80 percent harvest rate. Most adult toms taken will go in the Pope & Young record book, weighing up to 180 pounds and measuring seven and one half feet in length. Hunting is done in the winter months, so expect snow and cold weather. This hunt is suited for those who are in good shape over those who may not be.
Lodging:
A clean, comfortable motel room is provided. All meals are included for the days paid to hunt.
About the Area:
This hunt will be conducted in southwestern Utah, including Pine Valley, Iron County, and Indian Peak. There are low rolling hills, cedar trees, and red rocks. Expect temperatures to range anywhere from 60 degrees to below zero. Be prepared for cold and snow.
