Hunt World Class record Caribou on Adak, Island. Great chance at harvesing a 400 inch or better bull! Because the animals are on an island there is not migration. These are velvet hunts that are conducted in the month of August. Booking for 2007 is available online. If you are interested in booking in 2006, please contact the office.
Lodging:
Your hunt will be conducted out of comfortable wall tents that will be provided. Dry pack meals will be provided as well as the means of preparing them.
About the Area:
Adak island is on the western tip of Alaska and is located just a stones throw away from Russia. The island was an airforce base during the cold war, and caribou were introduced for sport for the airmen. Now the herd has grown to over 2000 head with over 15% of the herd are of World Class Record quality. The island is aproximately 35 miles long by 20 miles wide.
