Hello fellow outdoors men.
I have designed an awsome climbing tree stand and know It could change the whole industry, as well as a ground breaking design and method with como. clothing. My problem is though I am a experienced hunter I have no idea on how to get these product into the market such as investors, marketing, manufacturing and enginering. So, if there is any one who could assit me with any information I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

I'm pretty sure that the first thing you would want to do is contact a patent attorney. They can help you apply for patents on your design. You would definitely want to do this first to protect your invention otherwise someone else can steal the idea, patent it themselves and then your screwed. I believe you need either a working model or technical drawings of your idea in order to get the patent. Again, the attorney can answer these questions. I hope you have $$$ because the patent process isn't cheap from what I've been led to believe.
Once you have the patent or at least a "Patent Applied For", you can proceed with building and selling them. Or you could try to license the design to companies already building treestands. Lots of options for you at this stage.

I agree with "MJL927" on the patenting part .But that like he said needs $$$, and stile after you pay the atturny you haven't started yet .I sugest you try to sell the design to a company work in the filed or one of those companies who look for new enventions to produce new products.before you show them any thing you make sure they sign a desclimar not to produce without paying you.
if you think it works go for it there are lots of companies are just looking to make new $$$ from new products.
best luck

Best of luck on your invention here's a lil information http://www.litmanlaw.com/?source=overture
If I can suggest you attend trade shows, have a diagram of your stand and some details. It's a possibily you can pick up some investors as to sponors etc., but be wise and ask lots of questions to any potential investor.
I've known many people who have invented fishing lures, etc and used this proccess of trade shows to get the product out.
