Was wondering if anyone has actually hunted with the Remington Managed Recoil loads? I bought a box of 30-06 to practice with at the range, and they group better than any ammo I've ever run through my A-Bolt...of course it might be due to the fact that this stuff REALLY works on recoil, making the Abolt kick like a 243...
I wouldn't mind using them this gun season since the max range where I hunt is probably 150 yards, but want to hear from someone who has firsthand knowledge of their quality-
Incidentally, a casual observation is that this load for the 7mm Mag turns a pretty hard kicking caliber into a gun that offers decent recoil and still performs like a 270 on ballistics. One could use the Managed recoil load for deer, with its 140 grain corelokt, and still use the full loads for mule deer and elk...thoughts?
