Default Varmint/Target scope suggestion?

Im in a hunt for a new scope for my Forester, something with a 44-55mm lens, preferably 30mm tube and 6-24 zoom or close to that but i dont want to spend as much as a safari trip for it!
As the hunting stores close to me only sell zeiss and pecar berlin or similar expensive scopes that start in 1000$ ill have to order thru the net and im not familiar with most of the brands!
Im thinking something like 500 bucks or cheaper.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Arsako,I would suggest the Alaskan Guide 6.5-20 x 52mm with the 30mm main tube sold by Cabela’s. They sell it for $379.99. I have actually looked at this scope at the store and was quite impressed with the optics. There is also the 2.5-10x56mm Nikon Gold that is very clear and has sharp optics but the power is not enough for you’re needs. This scopes sells for $699.99 at Cabela’s. Other then that you will find it hard to get a scope with the requirement you’re asking for without going over $500.00.. Good luck.

I know its in scopes as in most other things, you get what you pay for but these ive found!

Bushnell - Elite 4200 8-32x40 Matte Riflescope w/Rainguard for $499
Nikon - Monarch UCC 6.5-20x44 AO Matte for $469,99
Burris - Fullfield II 6.5-20x50 - Fine Plex Reticle - Matte Finish - Target Parallax Adjustment for $450
Leupold Riflescopes - VX-II 6-18x40mm Adj. Obj. - Matte - Target Dot Reticle for $469,90
Leupold Riflescopes - VX-II 6-18x40mm Adj. Obj. Target - Matte - Wide Duplex Reticle for $490
and ATN - AMT Professional 6-18x65LU Riflescope for $449

These scopes i found on www.binoculars.com/ and the prices seem to be good!

The Leupold scopes are top class but these are not the best scopes in poor light!
The rest i dont know much but look pretty good!
The AMT scope looks good but the price does ring some bells!

So what do you think is the best deal of these?

Regards
