Heater Body Suit Question
#1
Heater Body Suit has redesigned their suit so that the zipper goes down one side to the Boot. Has anyone tried it yet?
Also is the suit quiet? Does it open as advertised, is their preditor camo better than real tree??
Any comments b/f I buy would be apprciated.

If you google them and include review there are some glowing testimonials a search on this site indicates satisfied hunters as well. They are having a small sale and I was trying to get a little more info b/f buying.

I don't own one ,
but it looks cumbersome , and the movement necessary to free your arms for a shot will most likely get you busted a lot . It also doesn't get cold enough here to need one , so I'll stick with my current attire .

I bought one last year, and I love it. I did not get the water proof one, and they are supposed to be louder. My suit is very quiet. Mine is the old model, and is harder to get into. The new model looks very easy to get in and out of. The zipper is very quiet. The suit is big, and you will want a big pack to put it in. I always bring a pack and that kept me from being able to transport the suit like they show. I ended up using it in even moderate conditions. Do not put it close to a stove or heater!

I took the buck in the picture below while wearing the body heater suit!
It was damned cold that morning and I was warm as toast!!!!
Wish I had gotten one along time ago.......they do exactly what they say the will, easy to come out of and quiet......yes, they are big and bulky and thats what makes them easy to shrug off your sholders to take a shot.
They are a bit tricky to put on once in your stand but, well worth the effort......practice on the ground at home beforehand.
I enjoy hunting in cold weather much more now that I have one!

Don't own one and have never seen one before now. Years ago I started carrying an old inexpensive sleeping bag with me. It's one that packs pretty small and I just carry it in attached to my stand. I do basicly the same thing with it. I can stand, turn, or move around pretty easy. It keeps me in the stand long after everyone else has called it a day. If it's really cold, I just drop 1 or 2 heat packs down in the bag and I'm good to go. I've taken many a deer while wrapped up in my stand. It works and you've probably got an old bag laying around already.
