Telescoping tree ladder

A buddy of mine, was telling me of this new telescoping
tree ladder, that can be packed in over your shoulder, like a gun. He cant tell me what
magizine he saw it in or the name of it . I am really interested in finding out more
about this and any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jim

Thanks for the reply, that tree stand looked allright but I have three now and the one my freind was talking about was not connected to a stand and could double as a pole saw.

I think your friend was talking about the Grim Reaper, or the Reaper telescoping ladder and it has a saw attatchment. From what I have read on this and other websites they are out of buisness. I have tried their website and nothing comes up.

I remember seeing an advertisement about that stand in a catalog or magazine last fall. From what I remember, its a backpackable stand that extends up with a "scissoring" action. I may be wrong, but I think its from API. I remember how cool I thought it was, but it only went up maybe 12-14ft and thats not enough for me so I didn't research it anymore than that.

Thanks for all the replies, after more searching on Handles" Reaper " reply. I have what I think is the tree ladder that I have been looking for. It is from A.S.A.P., Inc. (American Sportsman Adventure Products) and is called the Reaper. Thanks again for all the help.
