I just went through the same dilemma and settled on a Knight stainless steel disc extreme .50. I bought it 11/25/03 and shot a deer with it the next week. I love muzzle loading and plan to sell that one any buy a Knight Master Hunter .50. I will lose about $100.00 but I plan to have it a long time.
The one thing I learned while researching these is you get what you pay for. Check the articles online. They all say that you have to hit the mid/upper range prices for excellent accuracy.
