I've never used that product, but I have used doe estrus with a surprise result.

I set up my trail cam to cover the scrape after I applied a few drops of doe urine or doe estrus,, either works well in my area,,

The first visitor were does which peed in the scrape,, apparently being provoked to reclaim their territory from the "mystery doe" (me,, LOL),,

well as soon as the REAL doe urine was in the scrape,, I had more and regular visits from bucks of all sizes from spikes to 8 or better..

Live and learn..... Good Luck and keep experimenting,, !!

save your money---do this---place a clean scent free plastic bag in your pocket--along with a clean spoon---take a walk in good deer country away from the direct area you will be hunting--find an active scrape--dig up moist wet spot , place in bag---take bag to place you wish to make a mock scrape--make mock scrape--dump in soils from other scrape-- mix a little go away for a day or 2 see what happens and its free !!

Try that with the licking branch...that will really get them going.

As far as the ground you can just pee in it yourself and it will work just as good as deer pee but that licking branch is where the good stuff is. The ground will get worked around the rut but they will work that licking branch all year long.

Location is key though. Its not going to draw deer in but it will put the deer that are already there in front of your camera/stand.

I'll hang a piece of old barn rope or untreated Manila rope. It really soaks up the orbital scent and that is what you want. Hang it in the right spot and you don't have to do anything but if you hang a couple/several pieces at each scrape site you can take a piece from an active site and start a new site or switch a piece out with another active sight. Obviously you have to be very carefull not to leave your own scent on the site or rope. I wear rubber boots and gloves.

Hang a camera on them and this is the easiest way Ive found to pattern and get guys on mature bucks

Here are a couple velvet bucks checking one of my scrapes in August in the daylight. The one in the back is a stud. On this site I used a vine(you can see it hanging there) and I scraped the ground with a stick and pee'd in it. You can see the stand in the back ground. I started this scrape the year before and one of my hunters had an opportunity at a near 200 incher working it. He worked it all fall but only for about a week in the daylight.
