I may try to sell my Mossberg 500 20ga for cash towards a Bantam for my son. I will be selling local, I am just curious what y'all think I should price it at. I see a lot of asking prices, just not sure what they end up selling for. It is black synthetic with normal wear. I was hoping to find someone growing out of a youth gun to just trade with, but no such luck. Thanks for any help!

In my area, in good condition $200, possibly $225 if you found the right person. They go on sale for $250 somewhat regularly. Hope this helps.

Local gun shop has a youth wood with vent rib for 250.00.
A rifled cantilevered model with a Simmons scope tupper wear stock 295.00.


A couple other smooth barrels with scopes for 250.00 also.
