New scope for .308 repr

Default New scope for .308 repr
I have been searching for a new scope for my new Repr.308 and have hit a wall. I have been recommended both these scopes:
Leupold VX-3i 6.5-20x50mm
Vortex Optics PST-416F1-M Viper PST 4-16x50mm FFP Riflescope with EBR-1 MRAD Reticle

My price range is $500-$1200. Any thoughts or new recommendations? please share

On the lower end of your price range it would be hard to beat a Leupy! I'm sure there are several good brands near the top of that range!

Zeiss Conquest 4.5x14x50mm would be my choice in that price range...

Sightron s3, or s tac. 4x20x or 3x15, burris veracity, bushnell 6500, 3x18.
Lots of good stuff for that price range.
