Default Tin roof on a box blind?

I recently put a tin roof on my box blind and i've been told everything from..."It will scare deer away" to "After a few weeks, it becomes part of the environment and the deer aren't even phased"....what's everyones experience with this if any? thanks in advance.

The group with whom I hunt has about 40 box blinds. About half are elevated 6-8 feet and the remainder are on the ground. All have a tin roof .... and have had for decades. Not an issue. Have big, mature bucks and old does walk within 15 feet or less in a driving rain. They never seemed to even notice.

I suppose if deer had aerial views of your blind they could see a bare tin roof.

I built these a few years ago, the only thing that isn't metal are the treated plywood floors. The roofs are not painted and deer pay no attention to the blinds.

the only problem I have in a shooting house with a tin roof is staying awake with the rain hitting it...
