The real issue is going to be how long you want the thing around. If it's brand new, the deer will now something is new and different. those are the people who need to blend more. the only problem with permanent stuff might be if animals get in there and poop or wasps.

Have you ever seen deer around houses and towns. They go wherever the food and water are.
